Generation Church @ Sylva, Inc. Leadership

Generation Church @ Sylva, Inc. is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our leadership team and their qualifications for ministry.

Pastor Donald and Wendy Lott

Lead Pastors


Donald and Wendy Lott have been in full-time ministry for 26 years and were appointed to serve as Generation Church @ Sylva, Inc.'s lead pastors in March of 2017. They have served pastoring church from the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina to the Plains of Colorado. Donald and Wendy have served children in both rural and inner city communities from East to West as U.S. Missionaries for the past 10 years. They are also the co-founders of Generations Kids, Inc., a faith-based non-profit for children in low income communities.

In their spare time, Donald enjoys photography, playing the guitar and working on home renovation projects, while Wendy loves to crochet, play the piano, and go paddle-boarding. They often go hiking and always enjoy finding new adventures together!

Donald and Wendy have been happily married for 36 years.

Abigail Lott

Administrative Assistant

Abbie met Pastor Donald and Wendy's son Winston in Portland, OR in the fall of 2015 and married him in early 2017. With a background in banking and administrative work, Abbie enjoys working in an office, but prefers early morning coffee with Jesus, afternoon walks with Winston, and late evening movies with a fuzzy blanket and a warm spot on the couch.

Currently they reside together in Sylva, NC.
